Well well well, I honestly don't do any secret recipe or follow any weird diets. All I do is eat well and excercise 6 times a week. By eating well, I mean I eat everything but I have a limit; of course, there are some things I avoid but it isn't like I starve or just eat lots of salad.
Also, in November, I joined this group where they help you with this battle. It isn't that type of places where they just give you a horrible diet and make you feel like crap if you didn't lose weight. Although, they do give you this little manual to help you out on what to eat and how many portions for the different meals.
What they do is, they focus more on WHY you are eating more than you are supposed to; what's going on on your head, what's wrong with you, etc. So each Wednesday, we work for 1.3h with a psychologist on different topics. For example, for the past weeks, we've been saying the truth! Yeah, the truth! That kind of stuff that you know it is true but you try to convince yourself that it isn't but somehow, it does bother you and slows down your losing weight process.
Let me tell you mine: I sometimes eat a litte bit more and say "yeah, I'll work out more tomorrow", but I never do! It's just that I don't want to follow my eating program! Or I keep saying a bunch of excuses to not work out during the weekend. "I have to do this, I have to do that", but let's face! I don't want to do it!
This group has made me so happy during the past months. Because I am able to share my story and learn from other people's stories, and I have noticed that every week I open up a little bit more with them and they understand me and give me good advice. Also, this is something I hadn't tried before and I feel like it is helping me heal those mental issues and personal experiences that had hurt me so bad in the past and may have some effect nowdays.
From all the stuff I've tried for losing weight, this is definitely the best one! I'm working on my fitness, eating well and working on being a better person in different ways! Best recipe ever!
If someone asks me what to do for losing weight, I'd definitely recommend this without hesitating! Just don't forget to consult your doctor first on what excercise to do and what exact food to eat just in case you have some health problems.
